For those currently residing in Japan

For those who are about to complete the technical intern training No. 2 qualification

If you would like to change jobs from your current training site, please apply. If the occupation is the same as the technical intern training, it is possible to change to the specific skill No. 1 without an examination.
To change your qualification to Specified Skill No. 1, kindly show your grade 3 skill test certification and the advanced evaluation test.
In addition, not all occupations and work are subject to transfer, so if you have any questions or would like to be discussed further, kindly contact us using the inquiry form.
Not all occupations are eligible for transfer. You may not be able to transfer even if you are in the corresponnded occupation.

For International students

For current enrolees and/or graduate students while on special activities period, kindly take the special skilled evaluation exam. Those who have passed will be provided with job information according to their desired/preferred workplace.
Those who have dropped out or have been expelled from school are not eligible.

For people currently in overseas

For people who would like to work in Japan for the first time

Passing of the Special Skilled Evaluation Exam is a must.
Local affiliated organizations will provide Japanese language education and exam preparation.
After passing the exam, we will introduce you to a place of employment through a local agency.
Applications for overseas residents will be announced through our branch and from the affiliated organizations overseas.

Former international students (excluding those who have dropped out or have been suspended from school)

If you have a Japanese qualification of JLPT N4 or above, you only need to take the technical examination.
Local affiliated organizations provide support for taking technical examination.
After passing the exams, we will introduce you to a place of employment through a local affiliated organization.

For those who have finished the technical training no. 2 and returned to their countries.
(Excluding those technical intern trainees who have been illegaly overstayed.

If you are in the same occupation that you have engaged when you were in technical intern training, you can obtain the specific skill No. 1 qualification without taking the skill test (3rd grade, specialized grade, etc. at any time).
